Data sharing limitations

  • Data sharing is only allowed with existing users, so a user must have an account on this website. Inviting new users is under development.
  • Share permission scheme is the same for entire folder tree i.e. all content from top to bottom in a given folder tree is shared with same privileges). You can create multi top-level folders and share them with any number of users with different permissions. POSIX like permissions which a child folder can have different permissions than parent folder is not supported.
  • Maximum upload size for a single file is upto 2GB (this is not aggregate storage limit).
  • Groups are not supported. Share privileges need to be granted for individual users at top-level folders.
